N: resuscitate - with O2 and IV fluids, CT

R: gall stones, etoh
C: hemorrhage, necrosis, fluid collection, infection, pulmonary / cardiac / renal dysfunction
T:

Ranson criteria - WBC, LDH, AST + radiographic evidence of pleural effusion

A     Age > 55
L     LDH > 350
