Switch from GoDaddy to Google Domains

Some of my domains were up for renewal and I elected to look for alternatives to GoDaddy. I was surprised with what I learned. As a result I switched to Google Domains. Why ?

1. All domains on Google Domains are the same price: 12.00$ per annum (GoDaddy price gouges when able).
2. The Google interface is intuitive and simple to use.
3. Google does not try to upsale you at every turn.
4. Domain name privacy is free ! I was shocked. I had called GoDaddy sometime ago and asked them why they gave away my personal information. Of course, they said add 8$ per domain per year and you can have privacy. I offered that giving my information away without my permission should be illegal, they countered with: "it's the industry practice". That is not the case at Google Domains.

Try Google Domains: domains.google.com
